Save yourself

I rescued a bee today.  It had flown into the house.  I watched it first, buzzing around against the window in a futile effort to fly through the glass.  It was putting maximum effort in.  It sounded like an angry bee.  It was making such a noise flapping those little wings in vain.  It occurred to me that we are all like this little bee – banging our heads against an invisible wall in a futile effort to overcome our suffering.

Nobody knows whether what you are seeing is there or not. These words you are reading may not be there or they may be there but in a totally different way.  The colours you see, the shapes, the forms- everything is projected by the eyes.  And then, your interpretation, your understanding, of these words will be different to others because your interpretation is tainted by you/ your life’s experiences.  You see things according to your own conditioning.  In this way, most suffering comes down to the opinion you have about yourself.

Past Life Healing Therapy can help you drop your issues and rise above your conditioning.  As Osho once said:

“It’s not a question of learning much. On the contrary. It’s a question of UNLEARNING much.

Has there ever been a moment in life when you didn’t want more than you already had?

Really, has there ever been a moment in your life when you didn’t want more than you already had?  I suspect not.  We all appear to be of limitless desire.  But what happens when you cave into desire?  You desire ten more things!  This is why most rich people are in fact unhappy.  And this is just one of the ways in which we cause our own suffering.  Think about it.

Everything of value that had happened in your life you didn’t see it coming anyway! You never expect the greatest things in life that happen; good things simply unfold.  If you understand this- if you accept it and embrace it and let go of your desires- you will see that the universe is unfolding as it should.  And your issues can melt away as you are bigger than that; your true Self is beyond all that.

Desires lead to expectation and expectation leads to disappointment.  You can read a great review about a movie and then go to the see it at the cinema, only to leave feeling disappointed.  By contrast, how many times have you found yourself glued to the telly at home enjoying some rubbish movie no one has ever heard of?

But how to drop desires which lead to expectations and cause suffering?  You cannot simply flick a switch and turn off your thought process.  And there is no point fighting your thoughts – you won’t win!  The only way is meditation.  Close your eyes and watch your thoughts.  See how they come and go without you doing anything.  See how they do not even belong you to you.  Then notice that the thoughts are not continuous – look out for the gaps – that bit of silence.  Be of no mind.

The more you let go of your issues the deeper you go into meditation and the greater the healing. Past Life Healing Therapy gets to the root cause of your issues.  Life’s problems – illnesses, disease, suffering, anxiety, etc – are all just physical manifestations of deep emotional wound.  And it is no use just addressing symptoms.  It’s just like wanting to get rid of a tree but cutting the tree and pruning the leaves instead of uprooting it.  This is pointless.  New branches and leaves will grow back thicker and stronger.  Unless you uproot the tree you will make it stronger and destroy yourself instead of the tree.

Dreams and self-realization

Dreams can give you indication; they contain a message from your unconscious mind.  Whatever you have missed during the daytime will appear in your dreams.  Anything you suppress, any unfinished business, will appear at night.  Whatever you suppress will be ever-present.  Try to uncover what you have suppressed.  Suppression is like a disease: when you accept, you grow and when you let go, you (self) heal.  Otherwise the disease can spread like cancer inside you; in your existence.

If, in the moment, you avoid doing something or saying something – if you suppress it – you will dream of it.  If instead, in the moment, you become aware of the rising passion or fear (or whatsoever emotion is triggered) then you will not suppress it; you will not dream of it.  Every moment in life is unique so capture it.  It’s your development.  And there is no limit to self-realization.  The soul knows no bounds; it is ever-increasing.

As Osho says, the only way to save the world is one individual at a time.  If you save yourself, you can then (and only then) begin to save others.  As the old Zen saying goes: If every individual strived to make their own life peaceful then we would achieve world peace. The doorway to that self- realization, that change, is meditation.  Past Life Healing Therapy can help you let go of your issues and go deeper into meditation.

Know yourself; heal yourself

Osho’s Past Life Healing Therapy is a means of self-discovery. It is a means of reliving your past lives and putting your current life into context.  A lot of our problems (if not all) are, properly analysed, self-imposed.  Osho tells a great story about a clever wasp:

There was a clever wasp who learned to read.  He would go the library every day to read books on just about everything from Shakespeare to Einstein.  He considered himself most wise.  He had a particular interest in philosophy and religion.  He had read the Bible, the Koran, the Vedas, Buddhist scriptures, etc.

One day he stumbled across an article on wasps in a science journal.  The article explained how wasps couldn’t logically fly; their wings are too small for their body.  Upon reading this the clever wasp was, at first, doubtful and started to read more and more on the subject.  Having conducted careful desktop research by reading every book, paper, discourse, dissertation, article and review on the subject, the clever wasp could not deny the science; it was logically and scientifically correct.   The wasp then tried to fly but could not.  It was futile flapping those little wings as his body was too big to fly.  The clever wasp sat down where it was in the library feeling somewhat despondent.

As the wasp sat in the library on the top shelf of a bookcase, it looked out of the open window.  It could see the other wasps flying about their business outside. The clever wasp thought of them all flying in ignorance; if only they knew… The wasp became fat and unhealthy and more unable to fly.  The scriptures, the scientists were proved to be correct.  The wasp could not fly.

One day a bird flew in through the open window and suddenly attacked the clever wasp while he was sat down.  Without thought the wasp flew off out of harm’s way.   It just flew away!

The clever wasp came under the influence of books.  It didn’t have anything actually wrong with it.  Its wings worked perfectly well, it was in good health and had no disease or illness.  Nothing was wrong with it except this false notion that it could not fly.  Nothing had to be done other than dropping the false notion.  Awareness is only possible when the mind is absent. The wasp flew away; even then it didn’t think.  Ego never thinks itself wrong.

Think about this story carefully.  Have faith in yourself.

Meditate on it.  It’s your story.

Why do we cause our own suffering?

Why do we turn against ourselves? We feel isolated, hard done by, alone, sad, and unworthy.  And sometimes we feel unhappy and angry.

But we all cover it up!  If asked: “how are you”; we always say that we are “okay”. We wear a mask.  We put a front.  We fool ourselves and the opinions of others that we live in.  We are expert con artists and actors.

We enjoy our suffering. Deep down, we feel we deserve it.  It attracts sympathy from others; our family and our friends.  In this way, our suffering validates our imagination; our fears.

The mind – our imagination – the assumptions we treat as real, is the problem.  We need to transcend the mind to heal.  Awareness is only possible when the mind is absent.  Every experience will transform us, if we go into it with awareness.  With this in mind, Past Life Healing Therapy allows us to experience past lives and go the root cause of any suffering.

Past Life Healing Therapy is also a means of self-discovery.  In knowing yourself not only can the cause of suffering become evident but we can better express a loving attitude toward each other-self we meet in life.
