Awareness or mindfulness (vipashyana or shamata in Sanskrit) can bring inner peace; it is putting meditation into practice in your day-to-day life. In fact, doing anything without expecting any result is meditation. But to increase awareness, practice being mindful of all the things that you use to torture yourself with – become mindful by abandoning your expectations about the way you think things should be and what others may think of you. Out of our mindfulness, begin to develop awareness about the way things really are. You may realise that the universe is unfolding as it should.
An ancient model of healing that uses awareness can be found in the Yoga Sutra of Patanjali (which was echoed by Buddha in his first sermon Four Noble Truth’s). In short, the model is an outline of the stages in the healing process, presented as four questions:
- What is the nature of the pain that all humans experience?
- What is the cause of that pain?
- What will be experienced when the pain is removed?
- How can the pain be removed?
These questions are designed to bring awareness to the true nature of the issue so that it can be dropped and the healing can occur.
Osho’s Past Life Healing Therapy tells us that human beings are generally programmed to achieve a higher state of consciousness. Each one-to-one Past Life Healing session will help raise your consciousness and raise body-bound memories to awareness. You can experience remembered events from your personal akashic record; memories from your individual path of evolution through eons of lives. In this way, current life issues can be seen for what they are and, ultimately, dropped completely.
